There are 2 popular types of Fabric Wristbands and our online designer gives customers access to both types. Woven wristbands are made from various different types of thread being intertwined to create the end product. This type of finish is ideal for simple designs such as text in 1 or 2 colours and/or simple logos. Sub dye wristbands or sometimes known as sublimated wristbands are created using a different process where the design is imprinted onto the wristband and it is used for more complicated designs. When thinking about how to Design Fabric Wristbands our recommendation is normally for sublimated wristbands as this leads to better print quality – especially for designs that have more than 2 or 3 colours and those with detailed logos or effects such as shadows and gradients. Step 1 – Visit this page and select the base colour / design of your wristband from our 34 options
Step 2 – Use the ADD IMAGE and/or ADD TEXT buttons to build your custom design as required. As per the example image below the central 150mm are visible when the wristband is worn – so keep the most important part of your design in this area. There is a zoom button available by pressing the magnify glass under the wristband and the undo button is also found here.
Step 3 – You can change the colour, font, size and edit text by clicking onto the element and using the top bar to make changes. Similarly with images click on the image and you can resize, rotate or even delete. Drag any icon to move it.
Step 4 – Once you are happy with the design choose which type of lock or closure you want with the wristband. If you want the wristband to be able to be removed and then put back on go with the black bead, if you are using the wristband to control entrance and do not want the wristband to be removed then chose the black barrel lock. Both items are the same price.
Step 5 – Select the quantity of wristbands you require and add to the cart. From there you will be able to proceed to the checkout after reviewing your order or you can add other products such as additional fabric wristbands with new designs.
That’s it – we have made the design process as simple as possible with minimum fuss. On our example order you can see that we have kept the elements within the central 150mm – which is the area visible when worn. Customers can add more complex items such as full colour logos, shadows and gradients as required. We can even print QR codes onto the bands and add sequential numbering on request. The dimensions are 350mm wide by 15mm high as standard – although we can also produce wristbands that are 20mm in height.
